Rewrapped, Zodiac, Rematch, Interchange & The Crystal Billet Box | Craig & Ryland's Magic Review
The Magic Review Show is the perfect opportunity to learn about the latest and greatest magic products. Every week Craig & Ryland review each product, perform them and give their own individual ratings. Like it or hate it, they will let you know. Neither magician is associated with a third party company, meaning their opinions aren't biased. Let's break down the products.
The first product Craig & Ryland reviewed is Rewrapped by Brandon David & Chris Turchi. Vanishing Inc. describes the routine as, "You pull out a piece of gum from your mouth. With a quick stretch and snap, it's restored to a brand-new piece. Another quick shake and it's back in its original wrapper. You can then even take this piece and pop it in your mouth, or offer it to a friend. It's a mind-warping, time-bending piece of magic that leaves a lasting impression in just a matter of seconds." It's a clever and creative routine using a seemingly simple gimmick. Craig & Ryland loved this, awarding it 90% and 100% respectively.
Chris Congreave has recently released a brand new Alakazam product called Zodiac. Alakazam's description states, "Zodiac By Chris Congreave Is an easy to do prediction of not only a playing card but also your spectators star sign! With this custom designed and printed deck and Chris’s clever method you can perform this effect with ZERO sleight of hand and ZERO memory work! There is no fishing, no cribs, no rough and smooth, no progressive anagrams, just a direct piece of magic." It's a brilliant new deck that will allow you to perform an incredible prediction without any sleight of hand involved. Craig awarded Zodiac 90% while Ryland followed up highly with 120%.
Another new Alakazam trick this week is Rematch by Bob King. Alakazam states, "Bob King is one of our favourite creators of magic EVER, and REMATCH is an absolute gem. It's baffling, self-working, fast to reset and with my 'game-show' presentation, keeps everyone hooked right up until the shocking climax!" Craig & Ryland awarded Rematch with 95% and 97% respectively. While Craig doesn't know why it works the way it does, it somehow always works as it's a really clever trick.
Next up Craig & Ryland reviewed Interchange by Gary James & Pro Show Magic, a brand new trick using a key-ring to perform various magic performances. Pro Show Magic goes onto state, "Finally a key-ring you will carry with you everyday! An object to impossible location, you can use cards, coins, billets, predictions etc. Make things vanish or appear in a split second. Each keyring is made with care and to the highest standard. You will love the mechanism of Interchange and you won’t stop smiling every time you use it." There is so much you can use this for. Craig and Ryland were very impressed with this product, awarding it 100% each.
Crystal Billet Box
The final product Craig & Ryland reviewed this week is The Crystal Billet Box by David Regal. This is a gimmicked box that has been precision-crafted from thick acrylic that enables a performer to switch a group of billets, force an item, make something appear, make something vanish, and can even be used as a prediction chest. It's an amazing utility item that looks innocent looking and will never be suspected because it's seen through the whole time. The billets included will always be in plain sight of everyone. No one will give the box a second thought. Craig & Ryland were highly impressed, giving 100% each once again.
That's everything for this week's Magic Review Show. There were some incredible products this week. We hope this same quality is maintained for next week's show.
