Six By Six, spRING, Magic Box & Shade | Craig & Ryland's Magic Review Show

Every week the father and son team looked at the latest and greatest products released to the magic community. If the product is good or bad they will let you know. Let's break down the four products they reviewed this week and how they are designed.

Six By Six

The first product Craig & Ryland reviewed is one of the best everyday carry items you will ever see. Introducing Six By Six by Simon Lipkin & Spooky Nyman. Mazel Magic states, "Simon Lipkin's SixBySix is a brand new approach to ESP Cards. Designed to look like an innocent snap game set, SixBySix packs some powerful secrets. Wether you already perform cube magic, or you've never picked up a cube before, SixBySix is the perfect addition to your walk around set." It's a brilliant product that adds a clever twist to a classic routine. Craig & Ryland love this product, awarding it 100% and 119% respectively.

Joonas Mengel has taken a long-forgotten puzzle and has reworked it into one of the most classic and iconic plots in magic - Linking rings. This in turn has created spRING. Penguin Magic states, "Imagine being able to effortlessly melt a solid ring into the very coils of a tightly wound spring with a visually pleasing and buttery smooth penetration that's done without any help of the methods typically seen in the traditional linking rings. In fact, there is nothing to ditch or hide, and you can hand out spRing immediately before, after, and even during your performance if you so choose." It's easy to perform and you can use it for any type of performance & venue. Craig & Ryland awarded spRING 100% each, praising its concept and execution.

Magic Box

Everyone has heard of the drawer box. It's a plain and simple magic product that's since become outdated. Until now. George Iglesias and Twister Magic have teamed up to create Magic Box, a realistic modern box constructed with various stickers and logos to customize your box. Vanishing Inc. states, "It's constructed with thick, durable cardboard that's designed to last countless performances. It packs flat and assembles in seconds." You will be able to make shoes, toys, cupcakes, cookies and much more appear. Craig & Ryland enjoyed this fun kid's trick and awarded it 80% each. While it is a little bit expensive and it could break if you're not careful, it's still a fantastic product for kid's shows.

The final product Craig & Ryland reviewed this week is Shade by Jeki Yoo. Vanishing Inc. describes the product as follows, "Shade is a unique and refreshing effect more than 1-year in the making. It is brought to you by Jeki Yoo, the wildly creative magician who has taken the world by storm with his insane Instagram magic videos. Building on the fun concept of combining magic and fashion that was recently popularized by "Watch This" from Rex Kim, "Shade" allows you to transform a bill into a pair of sunglasses." It's an interesting concept that can be food for virtual shows as well as live performances. Craig gave this product 70% while Ryland followed up with 79%. While neither Craig nor Ryland are intending to use this trick in the real world, it's still a good trick and if you can make it work in your act, go for it.
