Tornado by Rick Lax, Live Performances, Monkey In The Middle, Restaurant Magic & More | 5x5

If you are not familiar with 5x5, this series of videos is hosted by Craig Petty who gives himself five minutes to talk about five different subjects of magic each. There will be a countdown timer at the bottom corner of the screen. When the timer hits zero, Craig immediately switches topic. The series is quick, snappy and you never know what you're going to get.

In this week's 5 x 5 Craig covers the following topics:

1. You see the full performance of Tornado by Rick Lax.  This is an incredible routine using two cards and is available from Penguin Magic.  This performance takes place at a garden party and Craig is completely surrounded.  You get to see exactly how the effect plays in the real world. We even have a Magic Live dedicated to this routine as well.

2. You see the live performance of Tornado again but this time with a commentary track over the top.  Craig talks about managing angles in a real gigging situation and how you should be aware of your environment when performing amply material.

3. Craig performs and reviews Monkey In The Middle by Bill Goldman and is marketed by Penguin Magic.  This is one of the best sandwich routines ever created.  Craig performs the routine and explains why it is so good.

4. Craig does a deck review of The Killer Bee deck by Ellusionist. This is a fantastic deck of cards that handles really well and looks great.  Craig takes it through its paces.

5. Craig talks about Restaurant Magic.  He has teamed up with Penguin Magic to offer a beginners guide to getting into restaurant magic.  This course starts next week.  You can find out more about this course on Penguin Magic.

That's everything for this week's 5x5 Magic. If you have any questions you would like to ask, feel free to let us know in the full episode below. Thanks for watching.
