Live Performance Special - Ambitious Card, Cards Across & Rocky's Triumph | 5x5 With Craig Petty

5x5 showcases Craig talking about five different subjects of magic. He gives himself five minutes to talk about each topic while there is a countdown timer at the bottom of the screen. When the timer reaches zero, Craig immediately moves onto the next topic. The series is always quick, snappy and you never know what you are going to get.

In this week's 5 x 5 Craig covers the following topics:

1. You see a live performance of Craig performing the Ambitious Card routine. This is a brilliant effect where a playing card seems to return to the top of the deck after being placed elsewhere in the middle of the deck.

2. You see the same performance of the Ambitious Card routine but this time with a commentary track over the top. Craig talks about time misdirection, making sure the moves are not spotted by audience members and more.

3. You see another live performance, this time of Cards Across. This is a great routine to perform in an environment when you are in a huge social event.

4. You see the same routine but this time with a commentary track over the top of the performance. Craig talks about performing in a huge social event, holding out cards and handling spectators.

5. You see one more live performance of Craig's Rocky's Triumph routine. This routine was first published on Craig's DVD 'Slim' from about 10 years ago. It's his favourite Triumph routine. The basic idea is that a shuffled, regular deck of cards is used to have a card selected without any force.

6. You see Rocky's Triumph again but this time with a commentary track over the top. Craig talks about how the cards are very convincingly shuffled face up into face down. He also talks about how the cards sort themselves out except for the selected card.

That's all for this week's 5x5 Magic. You can watch the full episode below on Magic TV. Be sure to leave us a comment on what you think.
