How To Manage Angles When Performing Close Up Magic | Magic Stuff With Craig Petty
Angle Management is one of the most important skills you need to learn as a close up magician. While performing to a live close up audio, there will inevitably be situations where your spectators will be looking from all directions. It is important that you are aware of these angles and prepared to adapt your magic depending on where the spectators are watching from.
Fortunately Craig is here to help with some great tips to incorporate directly into your performances. During the episode, Craig even shows us a clip of a coin routine he created called Security Pen. You see live performance footage of this routine at a wedding. As you will notice, the angles during this routine are challenging. Craig then plays the same clip again but with a commentary track so you can learn what to do and when to do it.
As a magician, learning new tricks is very important. But learning how to present the existing tricks in a way where all the possible angles are completely covered is even more important. We hope you find this video useful. Check it out below and let us know what you think in the comments. We look forward to seeing your responses! 👇👇👇
